Pricing

Three plans. The limits below are the real ones, already enforced by the server. The prices are not final.

These prices are a starting point, not a commitment. They may change before launch, and there is no way to pay for anything yet — billing does not exist, so every account today is on the free plan.

Free
$0
  • 1 project
  • 3 lists in it
  • 50 todos per list
  • Sync: 30 days, then off
  • No sharing or invites
  • No command line
  • No activity log
Solo
$1.99 / month
Placeholder — not final
  • 2 projects
  • 20 lists per project
  • 50 todos per list
  • Sync
  • Share with 2 users
  • The command line
  • The activity log
Team
$4.99 / month
Placeholder — not final
  • Unlimited projects
  • Unlimited lists
  • Unlimited todos per list
  • Sync
  • Unlimited sharing
  • The command line
  • The activity log

Inbox costs you nothing. It sits outside every project, so on the free plan your single project is entirely yours. The per-list ceiling still applies to Inbox itself.

The limits, side by side

These are enforced on the server, on every account, already — before any payment system exists.

Solo and Free allow the same 50 todos per list, and that is deliberate — no paid plan is more restrictive than the free one on any axis. What an upgrade buys you is projects, lists, sync, the command line and the activity log.

Two things we have not decided

Rather than show you a number we would have to take back.

  • What these cost outside the US. The prices above are in US dollars. What an Indian visitor — or anyone else — would actually pay has not been settled, so there is no currency switcher and no converted figure here.
  • Whether there is a yearly rate. Undecided. There is no annual toggle because there is no annual price to put behind it.

Accounts are not open yet

There is no sign-up page. The account system, projects, lists and todos are all built and running on our server today — but the page you would use to sign in from a browser has not been built, so there is nothing honest to put behind that button yet.

When it exists, it will be here, and What's new will say so on the day.
